Payson Real Estate: Home Staging Tips
We have all heard it, “April Showers, Bring May Flowers”. Well, spring is here and it’s a perfect time to stage your home to sell in the Payson real estate market. A few clean updates and a fresh spruce up will bring buyers to your front door.
Yard: Clear the Debris & Add Some Color – Well, now is the time to remove all the yard debris from the winter and even the fall if you didn’t get a fall clean up done. The yard is the first impression buyers get of your property so clean it up! Also, add some flowers to the yard to spruce it up. If you’re worried about a last frost killing your plants, use frost-resistant plants or better yet buy some silk flowers and eliminate the need to water them.
Entryway: Clean & Inviting – Next, potential buyers will be greeted by your front door and entryway. First, remove all clutter and scrub down the door and surrounding areas. Maybe add a new doormat and some potted flowers to brighten up the area.
Colors: Brighten Up for Spring – Make sure to pack away those wintery, flannel blankets and replace them with bright, spring colors and floral throws and accent pillows. Don’t forget to pack away your winter wardrobe as well including heavy coats and snow boots.
Spring Scents: Fresh Cut Flowers & Candles – Remember the scents of springtime. Place a vase with fresh cut flowers on the table during showings as well as candles or diffusers throughout the house. Pleasant scents can really change the feeling of a home and brighten the buyer’s mood.
